Fluoroscan® InSight™ Mini C-arm Extremities Imaging System

The demands of extremity surgery are varied. With its smart engineering, the InSight/InSightFD mini c- arm answers the needs of orthopedic surgeons who require excellent image quality and time-saving, user-friendly instruments, along with the flexibility of having just one system that can handle all their extremity imaging needs.
No matter how challenging the body part or how difficult the position, Insight/InSightFD will accommodate the orthopedic surgeons’ needs with extraordinary flexibility. Its lightweight, flat screen monitor can be rotated and positioned with virtually infinite ease to extend into the surgical field. The articulation of the imaging arm moves with equal flexibility, so the orthopedic surgeon gets the precise angle that he/she needs.

The hallmark of Hologic is ultra-fine detail imaging. Only InSight/InSightFD offers a 0.045mm focal spot for superior image clarity and detail no other mini C-arm matches. Most importantly, InSight/InSightFD lets you image the smallest bones in minute detail, without increasing radiation dose.
Orthopedic surgeons ask for the best image quality without instrumentation complexity. The InSight/InSightFD mini c-arm introduces advanced imaging automation that compensates for and adjusts to metal, noise, motion, and tissue thickness.

Designed with your OR in mind to facilitate greater positioning, flexibility and convenient mobility.

The Hologic Fluoroscan InSight FD mini C-arm provides diversified imaging options, an enhanced interface and a 24” HD touchscreen interface for extremities imaging.

The system incorporates a rotating flat detector. This enables imaging of long bones and is designed to help minimize radiation by preventing patient and surgeon exposure to the unused area of the detector.
